Destination: Philadelphia

The city of brotherly love did not disappoint! Probably one of the most friendly cities I have ever visited. Of course, we weren't there for the Philly Cheese Steaks or even the Liberty Bell, but to celebrate and photograph the wedding of Eric and Merrylee.

Eric is a palentologist and Merrylee is a midwife. You definitely couldn't find a couple with more unique passions. Their main passion: each other! I love that Eric gave his groomsmen Fadoras for their groups gifts. You may have to google Fadora (I did), but think Indiana Jones.

I could get used to destination weddings because this was way too much fun! Maybe when Eric and Merrylee have children, they will fly us out for a portrait session. One can only hope :)

Rhiannon and Shawn

After this wedding, I hope to do a one EVERY Halloween. When I first met with Rhiannon about her wedding,  I didn't know what to expect from a Halloween wedding, especially when the maid of honor was a sea godess and the best man was a pirate. Only to be followed with Jack and Sally from The Nightmare before Christmas. But oh my was it fun! Everyone came to the wedding dressed up! The mother and father of the bride came as a nun and priest and I couldn't forget the groom's wicked step-sisters with frizzy hair and hideous ballroom gowns. It was a spectacular site. However, they were mear shadows compared to the bride and groom. Shawn wanted the perfect day for his bride and went through every detail to make that happen. Congratulations Ray and Shawn!

Awwww Mawwiage

I love, love!
Your wedding is quite arguably the most important day of your life. I am invited every year to dozens of these days to be apart of . It's beautiful. It's intriguing. It's special. It's amazing. I love, love!

Abby and Wade invited me to join their special day in May. I like to work with people that otherwise I would want to be their friends anyway. Abby and Wade are the kind of people you meet and mesh with right off the bat. They've been together for 5 years and you would have thought that had just started dating with the giddiness that still permeated through every picture. I can't wait to be apart of the day they've both been waiting on!

Catching up...

I am a self professed TERRIBLE blogger. However, my wedding season resolution is to not only catch up from last season's weddings, but document every one I do this season.

So get ready, cause here it comes!
